MyHome is now mobile: build updates in your customers’ hands

MyHome has been keeping customers connected to their build for years. Now, that connection is mobile – with progress, photos and messages in one app.

For a site manager or supervisor, keeping customers informed is an important part of delivering a good building experience. But it sits alongside a long list of competing priorities: coordinating trades, managing inspections, tracking progress and dealing with the issues that inevitably arise on site.

When several homes are moving through the construction pipeline at once, keeping every customer updated at the right time can be challenging. Often, the site supervisor or project manager has all the information they need at their fingertips. The difficulty is getting that information to the right customer, consistently and in a timely way.

That’s where MyHome – ClickHome’s dedicated customer portal – has long supported the builder-customer relationship. Now, the platform is available as a mobile app for iOS and Android, giving customers access to their build wherever they are, with progress updates, site photos and messages available from the palm of their hand.

Connecting the workflow with the customer experience

MyHome’s value comes from its direct connection with ClickHome.

As tasks are updated or completed in ClickHome, builders can choose what their customers see in the MyHome app. A simple toggle lets them push relevant updates, photos and other information directly from ClickHome to the portal.

For builders, this means no double-handling and no separate system to keep updated. The construction team continues working in ClickHome, while MyHome keeps the customer connected to what’s happening on site.

Fewer questions, without less communication

Good communication works both ways. Builders need an efficient way to keep customers informed, while customers need an easy way to get in touch when they have a question or something needs attention.

The MyHome mobile app supports both.

With progress updates and site activity available in the app, customers can check where their build is up to without needing to call or email for routine updates. For ClickHome builders using MyHome, this can result in a 30% reduction in inbound customer calls.

At the same time, customers can raise warranty and maintenance issues directly through the app, including photo uploads. Those requests flow into ClickHome, where the builder can manage them, update their status and keep the customer informed.

Keeping customers in the loop, wherever they are

The move to mobile reflects a broader shift in how customers expect to interact with the businesses building their homes. They don’t necessarily need more communication. They need better access to the information that matters to them, when it matters.

Mobile changes the timing of the customer experience.

Rather than waiting until they are at a computer or checking emails at the end of the day, customers can see progress, photos and updates as they happen — wherever they are.

MyHome is now available on iOS and Android and is included with the latest ClickHome27 release.
