The ClickHome Application has made tracking of a Sales Inquiry all the way through to the end of Construction a breeze.
ClickHome is a Residential Building Contract Management System. It is the only integrated construction software that captures the client from the time they walk into the display home through to maintenance of their completed new home. ClickHome gets your jobs to site and completed quicker. ClickHome also improves the communication process between the Builder, Clients, Suppliers and other stakeholders.
As ClickHome preconstruction is a full workflow engine that drives tasks around the organisation a lot of the day to day co-ordination of tasks is removed from the manager’s job (as the workflow drives the tasks automatically). There are certain elements of the task co-ordination that cannot be handled simply from a workflow though. The key element being target setting which requires manual intervention to set targets that are not simply based upon what has happened before, but also on circumstantial information relating to the job (i.e. a troublesome client).
To provide the manager or department manager the ability to record these targets we have ‘due dates’ per task. A ‘due date’ records the expected completion of the task, as set by appropriately permissioned users. The ‘Due date’ would be set against key tasks that a department/company would want to target and performance manage against, rather than recording against every task. As with all targets, the end user must be able to manage themselves against these targets, and we enable this by one, displaying the due date on the MyTasks view (with a red highlight if the task is over due), and by also displaying the due date within the Job Tasks view.

You can see from the above the report displaying overdue tasks as red. As ClickHome users you can setup individual groups of summaries to narrow into particular segments if required, or have an overall set of summaries across the whole workflow.

This shows a more current view per job, displaying a customised set of tasks per job based upon the current position within the workflow. This also highlights any overdue tasks, with a red highlight, enabling easier at the detailed level.
There is also the ability to set rules for the automatic generation of due dates for select tasks within your workflow. Against the template workflow task you specify the number of days after the task became available to do that you would automatically set as the ‘due date’. This helps reduce any repeatable due date setting, and could also be used to set a base target without any effort, and then revise the due date at a later time.
We have discussed the notion of target setting in terms of manually setting due date, and introduced the notion of automating expected due dates based upon the task in the standard workflow. This allows managers to retain the control over priorities and manage their business efficiently without have the spread sheet hell so many administration co-ordinators have before they have ClickHome.
We've greatly enhanced the trade allocation screen to enable construction managers and supervisors to manage their trade pools effectively.
You can now select a single or multiple trade type(s), and display in one page all the jobs that both require and are already assigned these trades, enabling you to manage over-allocation or under allocation in one easy screen. From within the same screen you can action the appropriate response, re-assign, or move the planned date, just by dragging and dropping and ClickHome will take care of the rest (cancellations, reschedules and linked tasks).
We list the suppliers in supplier priority ordering (descending), so you can see who are your priority trades at the top and take the appropriate action.
Standard Clickhome Construction includes the requisitions/ETS tracking system, enabling supervisors out in the field (via mobile device or tablet) to record details of the material/labour requirement, and to submit that request to the office for approval and PO allocation. The system is configurable so that we can set up different automatic approval levels per supervisor based upon dollar values.
The tracking of requisitions/ETS is very valuable to the construction process so you can track the extra materials required, why and who requested them to help you manage cost and margin. The timely response on requisitions will also enable the construction to proceed without unwanted delays.
We have now added the ability to customise the way requisitions work, so that we can generate notification emails, sms and even auto allocate PO numbers to approved requisitions (further reducing the delay for the supervisor).
ClickHome MyHome
Gemini Homes (Mackay Queensland) have recently launched a customer portal using ClickHome MyHome. This online secure portal allows their clients to view their house and see progress without the need to disrupt the builder.
ClickHome Tenders
Recently Gemini has purchased the ClickHome Module Tenders. This module reduces that amount of time with the back and forth between Sales and the Sales Estimators. The Salespeople now have access to a lot more information and can price and win deals more quickly. There is a full approval process within ClickHome Tenders that safeguards the builder.
